Custom N2 is a highly concentrated, biological soil amendment that is a contains nitrogen fixing bacteria product. Custom N2 is designed to help improve soil conditions by increasing the population of beneficial soil microorganisms.

Custom N2 contains only Paenibacillus polymyxa and water. It can easily be mixed with our other biological products such as Custom GP and Custom B5. Custom N2 is highly concentrated. After all, why ship water?

Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria

Nitrogen is one of the most expensive inputs for most farmers. Custom N2 contains Paenibacillus polymyxa, a nitrogen fixing bacteria. This bacteria takes the nitrogen from the air (N2) and produce ammonia (NH3). In other words, Custom N2 produces a form of nitrogen that can be utilized by the plant.

What Other Benefits does Custom N2 offer?

In addition to nitrogen fixation, the beneficial soil bacteria in Custom N2 produce hormones such as cytokinins, auxins, and gibberellins. These hormones increase root expansion and plant growth, making for an overall healthier plant.

Further Paenibacillus polymyxa is considered a PGPR, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria. PGPR’s are beneficial soil bacteria that colonize plant roots and in doing do, promote plant growth.

Standard Formulations of Custom N2

Custom N2 comes in 2 sizes. The 50ml size treats 2.5 acres (1 Hectare) and the 1 L size treats 50 acres (20 Hectares). Custom N2 works well with our other biofertilizers such as Custom GP and Custom B5.
